I am hoping to raise funds for the charity diabetes uk

Both of my sons have type 1 diabetes and are insulin dependent and use insulin pumps .

Julius was diagnosed in feb 2007 and Brandon in Mrch 2007 .

had a wonderful time appearing as part of the dorset international festival and dorset opera .

well we spent a great deal of time and effort preparing the contrating and fascinating operas tosca and otelload a chance to cover the roles of both tosca and desdemona and sing in the chorus of both productions for every performance.

it was a wonderful opportunity to work with Phillip Thomas and Dame Josephine Bairstow on the opera Tosca .

we had a wonderful cast of principle singers to include Lee Bisset ,Adriano Graziano ,Phillip Rhodes.

I had a wonderful time working along side them all ,always so welcoming and helpful .

Then we prepared the complex opera otello .i was understudying desdemona and we were double cast

Stephaine Corley was parterned with Ian Storey and Catherine Bouchier was teamed up with Howard Haskin and Luca Grassi.

Otello was conducted by Robin Stapleton .

the chorus was led by Nicholas Mansfieild

All of this was overseen by Roderick Kennedy and I look forward to working with Dorset opera in the future

Summer operatic concert of Jenny hill

I will be performing as part of the Summer Operatic concert presented by opera Singer Jenny Hill

I shall be singing the duets from Tosca and Vissi D'arte and the wonderful haunting song

Salce ,salce desdemona.s aria from Otello

i am continuing my coaching with Phillip Thomas and enjoying preparing the roles or Tosca and Desdemona which I will be understudying for Dorset Opera in July 2011.

The concert is on thursday 23 rd June at the

Church of the Hol Innocents ,paddenswick rd ,Hammersmith W6.

The concert starts at 8pm at doors are open from 7.30 pm

the tickets are avialable on the door

On friday I met my new coach Phillip Thomas in order to prepare the complete roles of Tosca

Phillip Thomas will be conducting Tosca as part of the Dorset International Festival with Dorset Opera .

I am understudying the roles of Tosca and Desdemona .

Phillip is exceptional musician and a pleasure to work with and brings such insight into the complete charcteristian both musically and artistically .
