Opera Singer Sharon Selman is based in London UK.
Opera Singer Sharon Selman continues her studies with the International Concert and Opera Singer Jenny Hill, who studied with the Spanish Coloratura Soprano Elvira di Hidalgo ,who taught MARIA CALLAS.
Sharon vocal coach is the conductor and pianist Phillip Thomas.
Sharon Selman was a past member of The BBC Symphony Chorus including performing at the prestigous BBC Promenade Concerts ,Recordings and World Premieres.
As a member of the BBC Symphony Chorus Opera Singer Sharon Selman gained vital performance experience working with the BBC Symphony Orchestra,Royal Philharmonic Orchestra,Berliner Philharmonica,Vienna Philharmonica and many distguished conductors to include Claudio Abbado,Andrew Davies,Lorin Maazel,Sir John Pritchard,Sejeii Ozawa.Opera Singer Sharon Selman was also able to hear many great singers to include Dame Janet Baker,Faye Robinson,Jesseye Norman,Felicity Lott,Sarah Walker,Robert Tear,David Rendell and Dietrich Fischer Dieskau.
Sharon Selman also met many great living composers to include Sir Michael Tippet,Penderecski and Olvier Messiaen.
Sharon appeared as a chrous member in the world premiere of The Mask of Time by Sir Michael Tippett and Polish Requiem by Penderecski and Transfiguration of Saint Francis of Assisi by Olivier Messiaen
Sharon gained vital experience by perfroming small roles and Chorus with British Youth Opera,Richmond Opera,AAC presents Opera For All.

Sharon has performed solo recitals at Burgh House and for The Maria Callas International Society. Charity Gala Evenings at the Lansdowne Club,Opera Recital for Friends of Columbia Social Aid at Dunsborough Park. Guest artist at the Royal Star & Garter Home in Richmond.
Sharon Selman has appeared recently at the Clore Studio at the Royal Opera House and at the Elgar Room at The Royal Albert Hall with her duo partner classical guitarist Christian Saggese.
Sharon recently over the summer covered the role of Tosca ,which was directed by Dame Josephine Bairstow and conducted by Phillip Thomas and the role of Desdemona in Otello conducted by Robin Stapleton as part of the Dorset International Opera Festival organised by Roderick Kennedy and Dorset Opera.
Future engagements include concerts with Opera Europa Classica in Germany and concerts with Novo Círculo de Cultura Musical in Lisbon in Portugal.
